Classes and training sessions designed for you and your friends or partner to play towards your goals by training in pairs, trios, and groups. Join an existing class or create your own.

Group X Class Pass

This program blends the energy and fun of group exercise with the individual attention and support of a personal trainer through custom-made sessions designed for 2-5 adults.

  • Each class is tailored to the attendees who register:

    • Communicate with the instructor in advance to discuss your fitness goals and music preferences.

    • Requests may be general or very specific and every class is researched, designed, and developed by a personal trainer.

    • Exercises are modified to suit adults of any age and appropriate for the medical conditions of every participant.

  • If you train individually with one of our certified personal trainers, the trainer can recommend areas where the class can assist your fitness plan to help you reach your goals.

    Classes provide a full-body workout that can benefit your individual sessions by focusing on:

    • Cardiorespiratory Endurance

    • Muscular Strength & Endurance

    • Core Stabilization

    • Balance

    • Flexibility

    • And More

  • Classes will use a combination of the following three structures to engage participants:

    Circuit Training:

    Cycle through a series of exercise stations that target different muscle groups with minimal rest between each station. This type of training effectively improves muscular strength and endurance while challenging the cardiorespiratory system.

    Training with Partners:

    Exercise in pairs and trios to play fun fitness games that enhance balance, coordination, core stabilization, and more.

    Traditional Group Exercise:

    Follow along with the instructor performing individual exercises together as a group.

  • Guide the direction of the class by letting the instructor know in advance what types of exercise you’re interested in learning.

    Classes can blend elements and techniques practiced in: barre, HIIT, yoga, martial arts, bootcamp, Pilates, and more.

    Adjust the intensity of each session to your fitness level with various types of equipment (including but not limited to): TRX, free weights, resistance bands, medicine balls, Bosu, kettlebells, chairs, mats, battle rope, weighted body bars, and more.

  • Each session is unique and changes every week based on participants' requests and requirements.

    Join an existing class or contact us to make a new class on a day and time of your choice if you have two or more participants.

    Use guest passes to invite your friends for a free session or purchase a partner package to train weekly with your spouse, family member, or friend.

FAQs

Group Exercise Class

  • Group exercise class is offered in-person at APX Fitness located on 113 North Main St, North Wales, PA 19454.

    This is a private gym available by appointment only.

    This instructor does not offer in-home or virtual exercise programs.

  • Yes, clients and guests must register for class at least 48 hours (2 days) in advance. You may register online after purchase.

  • Group exercise purchases are nonrefundable and expire six months after purchase. Programs may be canceled or rescheduled two hours in advance of your appointment time. Late-cancelations and no-shows will still count as paid sessions. If client is experiencing an emergency less than two hours before the session, the trainer may consider waiving the fee.

  • Guest passes expire if not used within the duration of the package purchased. Unused guest passes will not rollover into other purchased services. APX clients and their guests must arrive and attend class together to use the guest pass. All guest passes can be used on the same guest or different guests. There is no limit to how many guest passes you may use in a single class. 

     

  • Classes are open to APX clients and their guests. Classes will hold 2-5 attendees. If you are making a reservation for a group of 3-5 participants, you may choose to have a private class. Please arrive at least five minutes early for class so we can start on time.
